Buerger Patient Support Association has officially started its activity in April 1401 with the aim of prevention, screening, timely diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of people suffering from this disease. The goal of the Buerger’s Association is that no person suffers amputation due to Burger’s disease. Buerger’s disease is not only a medical problem but also a social problem in countries like Iran, where it has a significant prevalence. Unfortunately, there is no definitive treatment for Buerger’s disease, and complete smoking cessation, especially in the early stages of the disease, can prevent limb amputation, and other medical and surgical treatments can temporarily slow down the progression of the disease. Since it is necessary to change lifestyle completely to quit smoking, many patients cannot quit smoking despite enduring severe pain and amputation. Also, it seems that Buerger’s disease causes infertility and usually the age of the last child is the same as the age of onset of the disease. Of course, experience has shown that fertility can occur one to two years after completely quitting smoking. The close dependence of the progression of Buerger’s disease with smoking and lack of proper response to other proposed treatments has turned this disease into a medical problem. On the other hand, Buerger’s disease targets young people and by causing pain in the muscles of the legs and hands, chronic pain and wounds have a negative impact on the occupational and social activities of the patients. Also, during the flame of the disease, patients experience nervous impulses and behavioral disorders in the form of aggression or depression. Therefore, Buerger’s disease is not only a problem. Medicine is also known as a social problem. Therefore, the members of the Buerger Association with different expertise and experience have gathered in order to achieve the goals and missions of the association and welcome the cooperation of other people who can help the association to achieve its goals
